Maire Claire Arabia X Chanel
It was so great to be involved in this project for Chanel’s Spring 2016 Make Up Collection.
Below is a video I shot and edited for Marie Claire Arabia’s website and social media. The video features 22 year old Beegee Margenyte, an international model from Lithuania.

Creatively this was quite a simple shoot. I shot in a studio using the Canon C100 with a 50mm and 70-200mm canon lens to get detailed beauty shots. I used a tripod and slider to get nice fluid movements but mostly kept the shots static as this was what the client was looking for.
In post production, I always try to incorporate my clients style, music and content into the video as well as my own. The sound track on the video above is quite happy and upbeat. I also thought the video would benefit from a more urban and edgy soundtrack too as that is more my style.
Soundtrack Option 2
I prefer soundtrack two better. Every Videographer knows that music is EVERYTHING. It serves serval purposes to convey an emotion or to help tell a story. It can take as long as a day to find the RIGHT soundtrack. I’m currently building a music library (I will do another blog post in the future about what websites I use).
