Mariah Idrissi for Boss Arabia
Just a quick one! It's finally out!! A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of shooting Mariah Idrissi, a 25 year old London based modest model. The shoot was for Boss Arabia, a new online magazine that has just launched in Dubai.
This shoot was filled with many firsts. It was the first time using the Profoto octagon softbox, as you can see in my work I usually use natural light but, It was great to get out of my comfort zone! As my first editorial shoot and I’m very happy with the outcome.
The shoot lasted 2.5 hours and we shot at a really cool store, The Rug Company at Alselkle avenue. There wasn’t a mood board for this shoot, I don't usually like to work without a reference as i’m pretty persistant about knowing exactly what a client wants before going into a shoot, but the shoot was fun and the client was happy which is the most important thing.
